Isabelle was very proud of herself when she came home on Monday. She had received a "certificate" from Mrs. Hepler for good work choices. There were many reasons for her to be happy and proud however the main reasons were (a) only a few kids in her class received the "certificate" and (b) her sister did not receive one. Isabelle has been glowing ever since and constantly reminding us to bring her to Applebee's.
Note: These vouchers will be distributed throughout the school. Mrs. Hepler is using the vouchers to motivate the kids over a period of time versus a mass distribution. Please do not send any complaints to the office or "shoot" my kid when you see her coming...

What an important message! Conley received one a little while ago and did not mention it. HI found it in his things and I have not done anything with it...not such a good idea for me to ignore something he is probably proud of in his own way. We do need to pay attention to our children's accomplishments , especially if they are a younger sibling or express themselves differently. Appreciate the message here,Tricia!!
