Back to School Night

Back to School Night @ CHBC this year will be on October 1 2009 @ 7pm in your child's respective classrooms.

This is a time where parents will be able to see first hand what lessons are introduced to the children. As a new parent you will be able to see and understand what your child derives from the various lessons taught. Take this opportunity to see, touch and experience the classroom as your child would.

So, call in your babysitters, family favors, etc. but come around this Thursday @ 7pm for a wonderful insight to your child's daily school adventure.

There will be concerns, apprehensions and maybe even restlessness however be assured that the teachers at Childrens House will take the utmost care of your little ones.

I am dropping my youngest one off to the Toddler class lead by Ms. Lauren where he will begin his adventure of getting to know his many new friends and diving into his new work of learning and working together with his peers.

Last Hurrah for Summer!!

Yes, we have finally reached the last stretch. Summer is over and Fall weather seems to have descended upon us abruptly. I love this weather, what can go wrong especially yes, say it together "School is starting". Finally!!!

However we all have to watch our visitation, orientation and first day of school schedule closely. Yes the dates are tricky and remember not to miss any of those days.

For those who are new to our school. Welcome! Welcome!

You have made a wonderful decision to be part of our CHBC family and the education your child/children will receive from CHBC is priceless.
Yes, I say education because CHBC operates as a school rather than a daycare where Montessori materials are thrown together. This will be my twins fourth year and my son's second year in CHBC and what they have accomplished today mentally is because of their education at CHBC.

Like any other school, whatever you do for the school benefits your child. This is something I have mentioned numerous times and it is important. Volunteering. And no we are not going to ask that you perform anything "MacGyverish" for us, I promise.

Welcome to Children's House! It's going to be a fantastic year!
