Spiral Q and Children's House

Spiral Q was at Children's House a few weeks ago for an assembly plus the kids got to try on their costumes. Though I missed the show it looked like tons of fun.

Spring Concert 2009 - Update

A Spring Concert (At St. Joseph the Worker Gymnasium, New Falls Road, Fallsington, PA)
Sunday May 17th 2009
2 pm - 6 pm


COST PER FAMILY - $20 (if purchased before May 2009)


Yes, the cost per family has changed. We want all families to be able to participate in this event. There will be dinner, entertainment, performance by your child.

CHBC will also be auctioning off artwork from each class, raffle for gift baskets and a 50/50.

There will be fun to be had by all so mark your calendar.

Psst.... There are Target gift cards, Sesame Place passes and merchandise, salon services from Yardley and Newtown salons, Summer and Winter lakeside house rental, Yoga classes, photography services, etc.. Aren't you tempted to come and bid for the baskets during our Spring Celebration? Or do you want more details...

Isabelle and Crafts

Isabelle has been working on some new lessons since coming back from Spring Break.

She dabbles in sewing,

and on Monday Mrs. Hepler's class went on a field trip to Home Depot where we made a "Window Birdhouse"

Now we just have to wait for the weekend and the weather to get better so that Isabelle and I can paint that birdhouse outside.

We also found out that Home Depot runs a workshop for kids on the first Saturday of each month and the upcoming craft that Home Depot is running is building a kid sized wheelbarrow. Isabelle is looking forward to going to Home Depot and building one with her sister in tow.

Ms. Stacy

UPDATE: Ms. Stacy has managed to resolve her personal matters and will be returning to Children's House on Tuesday April 14 2009. I, of course cannot be happier since my son would have been affected by her leave of absence.




Ms. Stacy, due to personal reasons, will be taking a leave of absence from Friday and will only be returning to Children's House in the Fall.

I have known Ms. Stacy for 3 years now ever since my daughters started the Toddler Program at Children's House. Now, my son who is in the Toddler Class will miss her tremendously. All the children I know work well with Ms. Stacy and enjoys her as a teacher and being in the class.

The Toddler Class will have a substitute teacher during this interim period but there will be no one like Ms. Stacy who can jump in and work with the kids with heart.

We will miss you, take care of yourself and we will look forward to seeing you in the Fall.
