This year's fundraising coordinator is Jennifer Donohue. Her oldest son, Michael, is in the elementary program with Mrs. Enoch-Rex and daughter, Sophia, is in the preschool program with Mrs. Boggi.
I hope everyone has read her wonderful letter to us all detailing the fundraising programs at Children's House. If not, here it is.

October 1 2008
To all of our CHBC families,
Welcome to another school year at Children's House. My name is Jennifer Donohue and I am the fundraising coordinator for the 2008-2009 school year. This is my second turn at fundraising coordinator, my fifth year as a parent of 2 students here at CHBC.
Fundraising is an integral part of the FSA budget here at Childen's House. It helps pay for Fall Family Fun Day, the Breakfast with Someone Special in January, classroom supplies, in house specials, etc. I, as well as anyone, know of the financial strain and worries of the ever looming economic crisis we are co-existing in. It is for this reason that we are trying to host passive fundraisers instead of the hard sales we have had in the past. We want to have fundraisers that benefit the school, do not put a strain on our families, and provide all with a positive outcome.
For the 2008-2009 school year we would like all of our families to participate in our:
BOXTOPS for EDUCATION program - a simple and easy way to easy money for the school, just clip BoxTop for Education coupon on over hundreds of products, some you most probably already use, and turn them in to your child's classroom. Each coupon earns the school 10cents. And if you order online, order through the BoxTops website and our school receives a percentage of the sale. Just sign up!!!
SCRIP - This was out very successful pilot program started last school year. Through Great Lakes Scrip, there are hundreds of retailers who will donate a portion of the value of the gift card purchased to the school. You can allocate all of the proceeds to the school of half to the school and half towards your child's tuition. If your child's tuition is paid in full for the year, the money earned can be applied towards tuition for the next year.
BARNES AND NOBLE Night - Mark your calendars and put aside November 24th, its our Barnes and Noble night. A great way to purchase books off of our teacher's "wish lists" for new books in their classrooms, and start your holiday shopping and help earn money for the school. We earn 15% to 20% of Barnes and Noble sales for the day when purchased with our "coupon". New this year is an email voucher you can send to out of town relatives and friends, and they can shop at their local Barnes and Noble, give our "special" code at the register, and it will go towards our profit sales and cash return.
ACME receipts - Save those Acme receipts!!! If we total $5000.00 of purchases at Acme, we will receive money from Albertson corporation.
OUR OWN CANDLE COMPANY - Great smelling candles, reasonably priced. Enough said.
eSCRIP - Different from SCRIP, but so easy. Just register your participating merchant cards, and they will contribute a percentage of purchases to our school. Our group id # 6677203.
I know the amount of information attached to this letter may seem overwhelming, but please take the time to review the materials to see how easy it is to earn our school money without putting our any extra. As the year goes on please continue to check your child's backpack for more information on the above fundraisers, as well as new ones. Our success depends on each of our families participation. If you have any ideas, please fee free to contact me. Thank you for your dedication to your children's education here at Children's House of Bucks County.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Donohue
